Gabriel Dayley

Gabriel Dayley is the Executive Director of the Shambhala Meditation Center of Washington, DC and Chief Editor of The Arrow: A Journal of Wakeful Society, Culture & Politics. He studied International Relations at Pomona College and completed his master’s in International Peace and Conflict Resolution at American University. Gabe is interested in environmental peacebuilding, the construction of identity in conflict, methods of empowering women in conflict environments, dialogue as a tool for shifting intergroup attitudes, and the role that mindfulness practices can play in peacebuilding and social transformation. Gabe works at ICNC in support of the center's Global Field Initiatives.
