Dr. Leonie Fleischmann is a Lecturer in International Politics at City, University of London, where she Directs the Postgraduate Program in Human Rights. She is also a 2017-2018 Research Fellow with the International Center on Nonviolent Conflict. She has lived and worked in Jerusalem, where she joined various anti-occupation efforts. This sparked her research into Israeli anti-occupation activism and the role these activists play in Palestinian resistance. Her forthcoming book Israeli Anti-Occupation Activism: Human Rights and Radical Activism (I. B. Tauris) tells the story of these activists and their efforts to create change.
