Minds of the Movement

An ICNC blog on the people and power of civil resistance

Mariia Korobkova

Mariia Korobkova is a sociology student at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Ukraine), an activist, and a volunteer. She is an internally displaced person and her home is currently under occupation. The war completely changed her life and compelled her to become more focused on inclusivity, decolonization, and spreading truthful information about resistance and the fight against inequality and discrimination. Her work and writing focus on activism during wartime, with particular attention to inclusivity, equality, and community support in times of crisis. Drawing on lived experience and academic perspective, she explores how solidarity and access to information shape resilience during war.
