Perpetua Kariuki

Perpetua Kariuki is a human rights defender, socialist feminist, and community organizer dedicated to dismantling oppressive systems and building grassroots power for liberation. She co-founded the Kayole Community Justice Center in Nairobi, a radical space confronting police brutality and human rights violations while advancing political education and collective organizing against state violence. She also serves on the Central Leadership Committee of Kongamano La Mapinduzi (KLM), a revolutionary leftist movement in Kenya. Her work focuses on defending civic space, challenging patriarchy, imperialism, and capitalism, and fueling collective resistance for justice, dignity, and freedom.
