Matteo Dressler is a Programme Officer and researcher for the Conflict Transformation Research programme of  the Berghof Foundation. Previously he worked for the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) in Nicaragua and Germany on governance and police reform projects. His current research focuses include nonviolent resistance, inclusivity in peace processes and post-conflict armed social violence. Matteo holds a Bachelor’s degree in European studies from Bremen University and a Master’s Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Uppsala University.
