Lexi Acosta is a community organizer based in Mindanao, Philippines, working to empower communities often overlooked or looked down on through environmental justice, feminism, human rights, and democratic education. Since 2022, she has served as a Youth Coordinator and Social Media Advocacy lead at the Convergence of Initiatives for Environmental Justice, and is founder of We Organize Mindanao Mutual Aid Network. She documents movements and writes political essays, while producing educational content reaching millions of Filipinos online. She is a frequent voice on local radio and newspapers, designs and facilitates trainings that build people's capacity to organize, join campaigns, and fight for their communities. She is currently writing children's books on local issues.
