Strategic Planning and Tactical Choices (FSI 2010)
Strategic planning and tactical choice are essential considerations in effective civil resistance. This session at the 2010 Fletcher Summer Institute for the Advanced Study of Nonviolent Conflict offers a strategic framework with which to analyze civil resistance movements. It also examines the diversity of tactics available to civil resisters, and explores issues involved in tactical choice, success and failure.
The talk’s presenter, Hardy Merriman, is the President of the International Center on Nonviolent Conflict.
