Overview of the history proceeding and strategic actions during Adliya Bachao Tehreek (“Save the Judiciary Movement”), an organized, nonviolent protest campaign by Pakistan’s legal community against the suspension of Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry of Pakistan’s Supreme Court. The movement concluded successfully in 2009 with the reinstatement of Chaudhry.
