Choć zbrojne powstania trwają nadal w krajach Bliskiego Wschodu, Sahelu i południowej Azji, gwałtowne konflikty wewnętrzne nie są już głównym sposobem, w jaki ludzie próbują dochodzić naprawy doznanych krzywd. Od Tunisu po plac Tahrir, od Zuccotti Park po Ferguson, od Burkina Faso po Hong Kong, ruchy społeczne na całym świecie wyciągają wnioski z doświadczenia Gandhiego, Kinga i szarych aktywistów w kraju i zagranicą, by naciskać na zmiany.
